By downloading, installing, or using the CityRoo mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

App Usage

Personal Use: CityRoo is provided for personal, non-commercial use only. You may use the App to access public transport information for your own travel planning and commuting needs.

Informational Purposes: Transport data provided by CityRoo is for informational purposes only. While we strive for accuracy, you should always verify transport information independently, especially for time-sensitive travel.

No Guarantee: The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitations and Disclaimers

Data Accuracy: We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of transport data. Real-time information depends on transport operator systems, which are beyond our control. Delays, cancellations, and changes may not be immediately reflected in the App.

Service Availability: The App's availability may vary due to technical issues, maintenance, or problems with third-party services. We are not liable for any service interruptions.

Independent Verification: Always have backup travel plans and verify critical transport information through official channels when necessary.

User Responsibilities

•Use the App in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
•Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
•Not use the App for any unlawful or prohibited purpose
•Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or related systems
•Maintain the security of your device and keep your iOS software updated

Intellectual Property

Transport Data: Public transport data is provided by the Queensland Government and transport operators. This data is used in accordance with their terms and conditions.

Third-Party Services: Google Maps integration is used under Google's terms of service. The Google Maps API is subject to Google's licensing and usage policies.

Trademarks: CityRoo and the kangaroo logo are trademarks of CityRoo Development Team. Other product names and logos may be trademarks of their respective owners.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CityRoo Development Team shall not be liable for:

•Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
•Missed transport connections due to information provided by the App
•Loss of data or interruption of service
•Damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App
•Errors or inaccuracies in transport data provided by third parties

You use the App at your own risk. Always have alternative travel plans and allow sufficient time for your journey.

Privacy

Your use of CityRoo is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices.

Third-Party Services

CityRoo integrates with third-party services including:

•Google Maps API for map display and location services
•Queensland Government transport data feeds
•Transport operator systems for real-time information

These services are subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or functionality of third-party services.

Updates and Changes

App Updates: We may release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or add new features. You are responsible for keeping the App updated through the Apple App Store.

Terms Updates: These Terms of Service may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via the website. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Service Modifications: We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time without prior notice.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device. We reserve the right to terminate or restrict your access to the App at our discretion, without notice, for any violation of these terms or other reasonable cause.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from these terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
